At Datametrik (accessible from https://datametrik.com), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Datametrik and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect

Information we collect when you buy a digital product

When you purchase an ebook, guide or other digital product from us, we collect and process the following:

We never see or store your full card details. Card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs and net banking credentials are entered directly with our payment processor and are never transmitted to or stored on our systems. We receive only a payment reference, the amount, and whether the payment succeeded or failed.

Payment processing

Payments on this website are processed by payment provider, a third-party payment provider regulated in India.

When you make a payment, the information you enter is transmitted directly to the payment provider. They act as an independent data controller in respect of that information and process it under their own privacy policy, which we recommend you read:

Our payment provider is PCI-DSS compliant. We share with them only the information necessary to process your transaction — typically the order amount, an order reference and your contact email.

How we use purchase information

We use the information collected during a purchase to:

• deliver the product you have paid for;
• send transactional messages — your receipt, download link, and any notice about a delivery or payment problem;
• provide customer support if you contact us;
• process refunds where our Refund & Cancellation Policy applies;
• meet our accounting and tax obligations;
• detect and prevent fraud, duplicate transactions and abuse of our licence terms;
• notify you about a material update to a product you have purchased, such as a corrected edition.

We will not add you to marketing emails just because you bought something. Transactional messages about your order are sent because they are necessary to fulfil the contract. We will only send you marketing or promotional email if you have separately opted in, and every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe link.

How long we keep purchase information

Where we no longer need your information and are not required to retain it by law, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Your rights over your information

Subject to applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• request erasure of your information, where we are not required to keep it;
• withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on your consent — for example for marketing email;
• nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity;
• raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer about how we have handled your information.

Note on erasure requests after a purchase. We may be unable to delete transaction and invoice records before the statutory retention period expires, because tax and accounting law requires us to keep them. Where that applies we will tell you, delete everything we are able to delete, and restrict the rest to legal-compliance use only.

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month of receipt.

Client data (marketing services)

Where you engage us for advertising or marketing services, we may be given access to systems and data belonging to you or your organisation — including advertising accounts, analytics properties, tag managers, customer lists and conversion data.

In relation to that data:

• we act as a data processor on your instructions, not as a controller in our own right;
• we access it only as necessary to deliver the agreed services;
• we do not use it for our own purposes, and we do not sell or share it beyond what the engagement requires;
• we return or delete access on request, and in any event on termination of the engagement;
• you remain responsible for having a lawful basis for the data you collect and for the consents obtained from your own customers.

Where required, this is supplemented by a data processing agreement in your Service Agreement.

2. Google AdSense and Third-Party Advertising

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website.

• Google AdSense: Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on Datametrik based on your visit to this site and other sites on the Internet.
• Cookies and Web Beacons: These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are sent directly to your browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs.
